Disability 支持 Services
Walla Walla University is committed to providing equal access to all programs, 服务, 和设施. Disability 支持 Services provides assistance for enrolled or admitted 学生s who have disabilities under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Transition to 适应
The DSS office is excited to announce the implementation of 适应, an online case management system that will assist 学生s, 教师, and staff in requesting, 批准, and implementing disability-related accommodations.
This new database, 适应, enhances our ability to support our Walla Walla University community. This system will take the place of the previous paper file system for requesting and implementing accommodations. 适应 will be used for 学生s and 教师 from every campus (College Place, 波特兰, 米苏拉, 比林斯, 和罗萨里奥).

The 适应 portal allows 学生s 24/7 access to all of their disability-related information, including approved accommodations, 挂起的请求, accommodation letters, appointments with DSS, scheduled exam proctoring, uploaded documentation, 和更多的.

Incoming freshman or transfer 学生s, or 学生s who have not had accommodations in the past, will be able to log onto 适应 with their WWU email address to request accommodations.
Returning 学生s who have received accommodations in the past (referred to as legacy users) will also be able to log onto the 适应 portal to view existing accommodations and renew documentation if needed.
适应 for 教师 & 工作人员
The 教师 portal will allow WWU instructors to access accommodation information for 学生s in their courses each quarter. 除了, 教师 will be able to use 适应 to view accommodation letters, and submit testing materials starting September 26th.
